A RAILROAD DAY IN KOREA PART2

I continued the self-guided tour at the Railroad Museum. These are the presidential train (left) and the train for president's bodyguards (right). The left one was built by Nippon Sharyo, a Japanese builder of Shinkansen trains, under the Park Chung-hee administration. The right one was built by Daewoo under the Chun Doo-hwan administration. Very sleek.

The presidential coach and its interior. This car was originally used for the express trains operated by Japanese-owned railways in the Korean Peninsula and Manchuria.

A passenger car for Tongil trains.

The Class 9211 diesel train for Mugunghwa trains. It reminds me of the original Keisei AE series train for the Skyliner limited express service.
