UNIDOS DA TIJUCA

We visited the pre-carnival session of the famous samba team Unidos da Tijuca starting around midnight.

真夜中近くに始まる有名なサンバチーム、ウニードス・ダ・チヂューカのカーニバル前セッションを観に行く。

This morning, I woke up in Kyoto with snow still on the ground. After 30 hours of flying, I am ending my long day here in Rio with a blast of samba sound. My feet can still move a little.
今朝は雪が残る京都にいた。30時間以上移動して、リオのサンバの爆音の中で長かった一日を終える。足はまだ若干、ステップが踏める。

It's a block party, a club, a live concert, and a community gathering. People are getting ready for the Carnaval.
